Day 8 - Wakkanai part II

Had a lazy morning and woke up at 9am XD Today I took a bike to visit a little bit because it was going to be faster then walking for sure...So I headed down to a fish market but the resto only opened at 11am 😞 so I went around to visit and kill some time.

When the time came, I went to the restaurant. I ordered some fresh sushi and it was delicious! The miso soup broth was made by using clam/oysters, I saw them after I had eaten half of the soup lol The shrimp sushi was made with a whole shrimp, I was caught off guard hahaha so I had to remove the head with the chopsticks by being careful of not poking the food to much but more by "cutting". Food ingested , I was ready to go for some exploration.

I went around Wakkanai a bit on the coasts and then went back to the Wakkanai station area. It was pretty sunny I would say but a bit windy but that's normal given the location. When I got to the station area I went to another market sort of sub-port, i think it was called, and got myself a ramen. The shop was led by women, first time I saw that since I've come to Japan.

I went back to the appartment to rest a bit and then after that I went back to the station to go to Cape Soya, the main event of the day. I took the bus at around 18:15 and was at the cape around 19:05. The only problem with that schedule was that I had to wait till 21:06 for the bus to come pick me up later....that sucked...but it was a good time to reflect on things. Then when the bus came, I headed down to the station and went to grab some food because I got hungry and I was going to sleep after so might as well sleep on a full stomach.
