The weather is pleasant, maybe around 19-20 C and cloudy but no rain for now, even a bit humid.
As for breakfast, I had asked the receptionist for any ideas but ended up just walking in a small restaurant where they sell Donburi, so I took one with Salmon roe, sea urchin and crab. It was amazing! I never had sea urchin or salmon roe (sort of like caviar bit bigger) but it was really good.
So I went to the station to buy my 7-days Rail Pass which can be used all over Hokkaido and took the Super Hokuto to get to Hakodate. It was pretty long, 10:44 to around 14:30 but the good part was that I was able to see different landscapes. At some point in the train, an older man asked if he could sit beside me. I tried telling him yes but he misunderstood me LOL and went like 3 rows further down. 10-15 min later, he came back to ask I had say yes and I told him again yes, that could he sit but from what I understood he told me he had misunderstood me and thought I had said no but he finally understood and that it was okay (okay sign).
So as I got off at Goryokaku Station I walked towards the Goryokaku park and tower. Before entering the tower, I had to look for some food because I hadn't eaten since breakfast. I ended up going to this ramen place like right across the tower.
After the nice meal, I visited the tower (850 yen for the entrance, so around 9$) and took the elevator to go to the top floor, it's pretty quick lol. I was lucky that the sky cooperated a bit but I could see some clouds and hopefully for tomorrow it won't be raining for Mt. Hakodate.
Took some rest at the gursthouse and by 8:30 pm I went out for some Soba noodles but ended up with a bowl of udon and a free beer. I went to this restaurant called Nakano. I was sitting at the bar and there was this gentleman (Satoru Watanabe) who was enjoying his food and Shochu and stroke a conversation with me which ended up inviting the chef and the waitress of the establishment. Very nice people and it was fun, english with lots of japanese convo. I wasn't even expecting the night to end this way haha
