Day 5 - Toyako to Asahikawa

Man...this morning was something haha I got up at 7:00 and my bus to the station was at 7:32. I hurried up and ran for a bus stop that was not good so I sort of missed my bus LOL So I started walking my way back to the station which was around 4 km away. 30 min into my walk, I see the lady in charge of the hotel in her car and she stops and offers me a lift to the station. I was so happy haha. She drops me off and gave me a bottle of Aquarius and as I am walking inside the station I see a pickup truck ramming into a structure on the other side of the road and heads to the sidewalk. I just saw a person in the back of the truck falling but inside, thank God, and then boom the truck stops hard. The lady driver seemed to be hurt but no blood from far and hthe man in the back was okay too...I did not expect to see something that early...lol
And yeah...I had to wait for my train till 9:28 and it was just 8:15…


I hopped on my train and first had to go to Sapporo then transfer to go to Asahikawa. In Sapporo, I bought myself a bento box because for breakfast I only had one Anpan and a coffee in a can, and a beer too😃

As I arrived to Asahikawa I went to look for a bus to bring me to Asahiyama zoo, and the bus was a bit tight because I was still carrying my bag with me but whatever XD So I get to the zoo and go off exploring the site. I was expecting something bigger but it was okay, zoo animals are zoo animals.


After going through the zoo at a slow pace it was  almost 4pm so I decided to walk to the Asahikawa Ramen Village to open up the appetite, it was a good 5-6km to get there; an hour later I finally get there and get to work haha I was just able to order 2 ramen at 2 different spots but that pretty much satisfied my hunger and I got my electrolytes back haha.


By the time I finished eating, it was almost 6pm so again....I decided to walk to the Guesthouse I was staying at, meaning another 4km to walk lol I thought I was going to be able to watch a sunset but I wasn't able, did not find a good spot 😞 It's okay maybe another time. And at Guesthouse ,I met with one my roommates, Jaeh from Korea. Still need to meet the other roommate. In another room I know there were two people, one from China and another from England.

We shall see what tomorrow is reserving...
