After that small but dense breakfast, I went around the market and bought myself a small yogurt from Niseko (drinkable) it was freaking good!! Too bad I finished it quickly.. Then I went ahead to the Old warehouse area which is in front of a port. Walked around the shops and ended buying myself a softie, vanilla and mocha.
Ice cream devoured, I went ahead to explore the Bay area and Motomachi, all near the ropeway station for Mt. Hakodate.
1000s of steps after, I got to the ropeway station and bought myself a round trip ticket (1280yen) and I was about to make it worth my money.
I found two things nice: the first one is random, a toilet sink that integrates washing and drying...how cool and efficient is that! The other one is that while at the top, I could see the part of the main island of Japan but the north of it ( Aomori I think).
So I took some pictures at the top then proceeded to explore a little bit the trails. I must say that I should've put my long sleeves if I wanted to climb and go back down but I was walking with a T-shirt and shorts 😂 so I could only do what I did.
Exploration complete, extraction ensued. I was getting a little bit hungry. I must say that at some point I wasn't sure I was allowed to an Old battery station because I saw no one walking around... it's okay 😃
Went back where I started and found a Ramen-ya at the old warehouse area. I felt I deserved a good beer. The ramen was good, it had chicken and lots of spice. I was full after that. That's why decided I to walk back to the Guesthouse so a nice....5-7km or maybe more added to my total walking distance. Before arriving I passed by the Goryokaku park and bought myself another softie, Matcha this time 😃.
Got back to the Guesthouse , thinking that I could've gone check a sunset but little did I know, I took a nap which seemed to have a point of no return XD. It's okay, I'll see if I get to see one later on...
